Here, we have what appears to be a custom order made in Japan ESP bass featuring a single cut body design, Gotoh tuners, and EMG pickups. This one also has a shorter scale length at 32". ESP serial numbers are pretty unreliable due to lost records, but based on what we do know, this one is estimated to be from around 1998 and was not in the catalogue during that time.
This bass does show a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. This includes a cluster of dents on the front of the body and a couple of chips near the output jack. There's also other small dents on the sides of the body and other scratches/scuffs on the back of the body. The back of the neck shows some discoloration as well as small scuffs running down the neck and the headstock has some minor dings as well. The binding on the first fret is also chipped on both sides. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The strap buttons have been replaced, otherwise this bass appears to be all original.
