This is a super cool vintage Epiphone Olympic Special that plays and sounds great! The neck has a comfortable mid '60s profile and the electronics are simple with just one single coil pickup in the bridge position and single volume and tone controls. These were produced in parallel with the Gibson Melody Makers of the time, sharing most of the same specs.
This guitar shows normal cosmetic wear for a vintage instrument that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips/wear throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The body also shows plenty of checking all throughout and the hardware shows normal tarnishing from over the years. There's also evidence of stickers that had been placed on the body at one point in time and had since been removed. The frets exhibit normal play wear but otherwise still play great along the neck and the electronics work as they should. The neck is straight with plenty of room for the truss rod to turn in both directions.
This guitar retains its original pickup and has had the electronics serviced with a newer output jack and pots. The tuners, pickguard, Maestro tremolo arm, bridge and strap buttons are also later replacements. This guitar is otherwise original, and free from any cracks/repairs/ect.
