This made in Japan Epiphone LPS-80 Les Paul Standard plays and sounds great! This guitar has a slim neck profile and was available exclusively for the Japanese domestic market.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body. There's also significant chipping on the lower side of the back of the neck and on the headstock near the Epiphone logo. The hardware and pickups show normal tarnishing and the binding has yellowed from over time. The pickup selector switch is also slightly wobbly but otherwise functions as it should. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickup rings have been replaced, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
