This made in Japan Epiphone Emperor-J plays and sounds great! This one was made exclusively for the Japanese domestic market in the Terada Factory. The pickups include a Seymour Duncan SH-1 neck humbucker with the original humbucker in the bridge position and the neck profile feels comfortably slim.
This guitar is in excellent condition, especially at over 30 years old. There is minor surface scratches and light scuffs throughout the body from normal play. The gold hardware also shows light patina and the binding has aged over time. The frets are in great shape with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The neck pickup has been swapped for a Seymour Duncan SH-1. This guitar is otherwise original.
