This made in Japan Epiphone Casino was produced in the Terada Factory pre Elitist era. This guitar plays great and the pickups sound incredible! While most MIJ Casinos were only made for the domestic market in Japan, This rare iteration was made for the export market, and features a "Made in Japan" stamp on the back of the headstock that you will not find on Japanese Domestic examples. This limited release was likely originally intended for sale in the US or Europe,
This guitar shows minor cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and small scuffs throughout the body from normal play with additional scratches and small dings on the headstock. There's also a small chip located on the binding towards the lower side of the body. The hardware and pickups are also starting to show some normal tarnishing and the binding is starting to yellow from over time. The frets are still in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
