This made in Japan Charvel Surfcaster EM-SC plays and sounds great! The HSS pickup configuration with 5-way pickup selector allows for a wide variety of different tones. This one was made exclusively for the Japanese market.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes light surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body and as well as a small scuff on the side of the headstock near the low E tuning peg. There's also a minor dent on the side of the fretboard above the 7th fret. The surf green finish is also starting to show areas of discoloration from over time throughout the body and headstock. The frets are used but still in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
The spring cover has been added, otherwise this guitar is original.
