This vintage made in Japan Aria Pro II FV-650D plays and sounds great! This one does not have a serial and is dated based on Aria Pro II catalogs. This one is estimated to be the product of the early 1980s in the Matsumoku Factory.
This guitar shows normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the white pickguard also shows aging from over time. A couple of the knobs are also missing their labels on the top. The frets exhibit normal wear from the many years of play but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The bridge pickup was swapped at some point for a Japanese (DiMarzio style) pickup, and the truss rod cover is likely a replacement given the lack of Aria Pro II branding. This guitar is otherwise original.
