This made in Japan Tokai ES148S plays and sounds great! The neck has a comfortably slim profile and the Tokai MK2 humbuckers pair well with the semi-hollow body construction. The vintage natural finish also has a nice flame!
This guitar shows some minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The pickguard is particularly scratched up from play and there's a few small cracks along the binding on the low E side of the neck. The hardware and pickups also show normal patina that is consistent with aging. The frets exhibit only light play wear with plenty of life left and the truss rod has plenty of room to turn in both directions.
This guitar is all original.
