This vintage Greco EG450 from 1979 plays great and has been well maintained over the years. The neck is closer to a slim '60s profile and the guitar is equipped with Maxon PAF pickups. This example is chambered and feels nice and light, coming in at 7.69 pounds.
The electronics output as they should but the pots are a bit scratchy even after a thorough cleaning with DeoxIt. We have decided to preserve the originality of the guitar by not replacing the pots. You can hear crackles when moving the knobs up and down, but at full they clearly output.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that include various scratches, scuffs, dents, and small chips throughout the body. The binding has aged and discolored from over time and has a few chips along the fretboard. The hardware shows a little bit of tarnish from over the years as well. The frets are used but still play great.
A couple of the knobs have been replaced, otherwise this guitar appears to be all original.
