This crafted in Japan Fender MG69-CO Competition Mustang Reissue plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The competition stripe is a nice accent against the old candy apple red finish and the matching headstock is another great feature as well.
This guitar shows minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The finish chips along the lower side of the body appear to have been filled and sealed off. The pickguard has aged from over time and the hardware is also starting to show light patina that is consistent with aging. The frets play great with plenty of life along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original, outside a replacement tremolo arm.
