This is a super cool made in Japan Fender Custom Edition Bass VI that plays and sounds great! Fender Japan's line of "Custom Edition" guitars are very hard to find and are considered to be top shelf instruments, this early example of Bass VI dates to 1992, and is part of this iconic instrument's first reissue.
This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the pickup covers have yellowed from over time. The frets are used but still in nice shape overall and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm has been added, otherwise this bass is original.
