Here we have a great late 50s Les Paul reissue from Orville! This guitar was made in Japan in 1995, and does a great job recreating a golden-era Les Paul Goldtop! The neck profile is super comfortable, starting slimmer and thickening up towards the 12th fret. The gold top finish is not very common to find in this model and the PAF style pickups provide a full output.
This guitar shows normal cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body from normal play. The binding around the neck has aged from over time and the hardware also shows normal tarnishing. The frets still play great overall although, the B string on the 19th fret does choke out slightly. The guitar otherwise plays great and the electronics work as they should.
This goldtop comes set up with D'Addario EXL110 .010-.046 gauge strings. The pickguard and pickup rings are later replacements, otherwise this guitar is all original.
