This made in Japan Orville by Gibson LPS-57C plays and sounds great! This is an excellent recreation of a '57 Les Paul and the nitro-lacquer antique gold finish looks incredible. The pickups include a set of Gibson USA '57 Classic humbuckers. This goldtop represents the highest tier of Orville MIJ production at the time, coming from the "Orville by Gibson" line, featuring top shelf specs.
This example has obviously been well taken care of, and is in excellent, all original condition. As expected for a 30+ year old guitar, it shows some light cosmetic wear from over the years that includes light surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional minor dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The finish around the lower strap button is also chipped. The pearl inlays, plastics, and binding around the neck and body have aged from over time and the hardware also shows patina. The frets have plenty of life, exhibiting only light play wear and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
