This 1980 Greco Super Sounds EG-700 plays and sounds great! This guitar is an excellent Japanese made recreation of the classic Les Paul design. The neck has a chunkier '50s profile and the gold top finish looks great! The Maxon Double White PU-0 PAFs sound incredible!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The area underneath the lower pickguard screw is also pretty chipped up. The binding has yellowed from over time and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickups are a set of vintage Maxon PU-0 Humbuckers and the capacitors inside the electronics have been replaced. The neck pickup ring is also a replacement. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
