This vintage made in Japan Greco EG-1000 plays and sounds great! This one was produced in the Fujigen Factory and was among Greco's highest spec models at the time. The guitar is equipped with vintage Maxon U-3000 pickups and the neck has a comfortably slim profile.
This guitar is in nice shape for its age! This guitar shows normal cosmetic wear that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with minor scuffs on the headstock. The binding has aged from over time and the gold hardware shows patina consistent with age. There's also a minor finish crack on the front of the body but the guitar is otherwise structurally sound. The frets play great with plenty of life left, exhibiting only light play wear and the electronics work as they should.
This Greco comes freshly set up with D'Addario EXL110 .010-.046 gauge strings. There is currently no pickguard installed, and the truss rod cover has been replaced. This guitar is otherwise original.
