This 1995 Gibson SG Standard plays and sounds great! This guitar has been modded quite a bit, including a tasteful upgrade to Seymour Duncan SH-1/SH-2 humbuckers, but it still retains the classic SG aesthetic. The neck has a slim '60s profile and feels very comfortable.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There also appears to be imprints on the back of the body from where stickers had been placed at one point in time. There's also some splotchiness in the finish in that same area. The area underneath the strap button behind the neck heel is chipped and appears to have been filled. The binding has yellowed from over time and the hardware and pickups show normal tarnishing. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickups are a set of Seymour Duncan SH-1/SH-2 Humbuckers and the electronics include CTS pots. The knobs have also been replaced and the tuners have been swapped for Gotoh locking tuners.
