This is a super cool 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus that plays and sounds great! The neck profile is closer to a '59 feel and the Lightburst finish has aged beautifully over time!
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body and chips along the binding. There's also additional scratching and dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The finish has aged significantly and the binding around the neck and body also show discoloration from over time. There's some slight finish checking present all throughout the top as well as along the back of the neck and headstock. Despite the cosmetic wear, there are no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The hardware and pickups show normal tarnishing from over time and the pickup rings have also yellowed significantly. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
The capacitors appear to have been upgraded along with some of the other electronics. A screw has also been added to the electronics plate. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
