This 1997 Gibson Les Paul Special plays and sounds great! This one is a Yamano Music select, a Japanese distributor known for sourcing the highest quality instruments from the US. This guitar has aged beautiful as shown, and has been well enjoyed over the years. The neck has a comfortably slim profile and the factory-equipped P-100 pickups delivery all the P90 growl without the noise.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The TV Yellow finish has aged significantly and shows quite a bit of checking especially on the lower body and back of the neck under the headstock. There's also a large imprint on the front of the lower body from where a sticker had been placed at one point in time. The binding around the neck has also aged from over the years and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The frets play great exhibiting only normal light play wear and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
