This made in Japan Fender ST72-115 Stratocaster Reissue plays and sounds great! The cosmetic wear from over time gives this guitar a really nice worn aesthetic and the guitar is comprised of a white ash body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years. The finish has aged significantly and shows various scratches, scuffs, dents, finish checking, and chips, etc all throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The maple neck also shows aging and finish wear throughout and the plastics have also aged from over time with the hardware showing normal tarnishing. The frets are used and have flattened out from over time but otherwise still play well along the neck with medium action. All of the electronics work as they should.
The pickups have been upgraded to a set of USA Pure Vintage single coil pickups and the tremolo arm and back spring cover are also replacements. This guitar otherwise appears to be original and has been set up with D'Addario EXL110 .010-.046 gauge strings.
