This is a very rare and hard to find made in Japan ST-500 from between 1989-1990. These are not listed in the catalog of the time and were produced exclusively for Japan. Super cool and unique finish! While it appears midnight blue, a super cool green tone comes out in certain light.
This guitar shows a few signs of cosmetic wear. The body shows a few surface scratches and several dents on the bottom side of the guitar. The hardware is lightly tarnished and the midnight blue finish has aged over time. There's also some additional small dents on the back of the neck and headstock. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickups have been swapped for Fender USA Vintage cloth wired pickups. The tremolo arm and back spring cover have also been added.
Includes the pictured hard case.
