This is a super cool made in Japan ST-462 Hardtail Stratocaster that plays and sounds great! These are essentially '62 reissues but the hardtail Strats are not as common to find outside of the Japanese market.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body. There's also some additional dents and scratches along the back of the neck with minor dings present on the headstock. There's a small chip located near the output jack and underneath the neck plate. The cracks along the back of the body and below the bridge appear to just be imperfections in the finish. The hardware shows some light tarnish from over the years and the pickup covers have also yellowed from over time. The frets are used but still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar appears to be all original.
