This Partscaster has a vintage 1979 Stratocaster neck as indicated by the S serial number. Photos of the body and electronics are included for further info. We could not identify the body, and many other parts. This guitar plays great as it is however, the truss rod does not seem to give any more relief.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years. The body shows light surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout and the back of the neck and headstock show some dings as well. The pickguard had at one point been crudely cut in the neck position, possibly to have fit a different pickup. The back spring plate is cracked and chipped on the edges. The frets show normal play wear from over the years and there's some wear at the nut as well.
This guitar appears to have genuine Fender parts.
Includes the pictured 1970's Fender hard case. The case is worn on the outside and two of the latches are broken.
