This is a very rare fretted variant of the iconic Fender Jaco Pastorius signarture Jazz Bass! This bass plays and sounds great! The bass is comprised of an alder body with a nitro lacquer finish, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.
This is in great shape and has obviously been well cared for over the years. This bass shows minor cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and scuffs throughout the body from normal play. There's also a tiny lacquer chip in the finish located on the back of the body. The frets are still in nice shape with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should. This bass is in excellent shape for its age!
This bass has been set up with D'Addario EXL170 .045-.0100 gauge strings.
This bass is all original.
