This is a super cool vintage Competition Mustang from 1971 in competition red! The guitar plays and sounds great!
This guitar is overall in nice shape but does show cosmetic wear over the many years as you would expect from a vintage instrument. The body shows various scratches, scuffs, dents, and small chips in the finish. The pearl white pickguard shows some discoloration and the hardware is lightly tarnished from over time. The frets have normal play wear and the electronics work as they should.
The neck pickup has been replaced but is originally from a different 1971 Mustang. The pickguard has also been replaced due to warping. Some of the finish underneath the guard has worn off. The original pickguard is included inside the case. The tremolo arm has also been added and some of the screws on the pickguard and electronics cavity have been replaced.
Includes the pictured OHSC although, a couple of the latches are broken.
