This is a super cool early example of a made in Japan Squier CTC-55 Telecaster Custom that plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a solid ash body, "C" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The pickguard is quite scuffed up. The hardware also shows patina consistent with age. The frets are in nice shape with normal play wear, playing great along the neck with life left and the electronics work as they should.
The knobs, switch, and pickguard screws have been replaced, otherwise this guitar is original.
