This 1991 made in Japan Orville by Gibson LPC Les Paul Custom plays and sounds great! The guitar is equipped with USA PAF humbuckers and the neck has a comfortable slim '60s profile. The lacquer finish looks fantastic, and this is a great LP Custom through and through,
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The binding around the body has aged and shows some discoloration from over time and the gold hardware has normal light tarnishing. There is a pretty big blemished area on the lower side of the body along the binding that has evidence of repair. Looks like the binding was chipped off and reglued / smoothed out, but some of the finish was clearly worn through in this process, while cosmetically notable, the area feels generally smooth, and structurally everything feels solid. The frets are still in nice shape with plenty of life and the electronics work as they should. This guitar has been set up with D'Addario EXL110 .010-.046 gauge strings.
This guitar is all original.
