This was one of the earlier Greco models made in Japan, modeled after the Telecaster Thinline '72. There is no serial number so this guitar was dated based on the "Gneco" logo. The earlier Fender copies also evidently had a 24.75" scale length. This is a really neat guitar and absolutely comparable to Fender's Thinline '72.
This guitar absolutely looks like a vintage instrument and does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years. The body shows various scratches, dents, and scuffs throughout with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The fretboard is particularly scuffed and shows significant discoloration from over time. The frets show plenty of play wear as well.
The pickups have been swapped for Fender Wide Range Humbuckers. These appear to be the Mexican reissue humbuckers. The volume and tone knobs have also been replaced.
