This is a super cool early 1960s Epiphone Olympic with an aged Pelham Blue refinish that has aged very nicely, displaying a soft green sage. This one was made right before it was given the "asymmetric" body update, sometime between 1960-1962. The body is very thin and light-weight and the guitar has a simple design provided by the wrap-around bridge and single rail humbucker with single volume and tone controls.

This refinish was done with relicing, so it shows expected checking, discoloration and other patina. There is various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. The frets do exhibit some wear causing fret buzz particularly on the 8th fret on the low E string and on the higher frets around 18 and 19, otherwise everything is playing great. There is room to do a fret level, though it would make the frets low at that point. The hardware shows consistent patina from over time. The neck is straight with plenty of room in both directions on the truss rod. The electronics work as they should.

This guitar came to us restored, and in its current form with most of the parts now being replacements. The dual rail humbucker is unbranded, it measures 7.8k DC resistance. The pots and truss rod cover are also replacements. This guitar is currently set up with D'Addario EXL110 .010-.046 gauge strings.
