This made in Japan Fender PB-562 Precision Bass Reissue plays and sounds great! This one is essentially a '62 Reissue Precision Bass with a different logo style and the E serial places this one to be late 1980s. This bass is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.
This bass does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The pickguard has aged from over time and shows imprints from where stickers had been placed at one point in time and the hardware also shows normal patina that is consistent with aging. There's an extra strap button hole located on the inside of the upper horn and someone had also drilled two holes into the body and pickguard, likely for a thumb rest that is no longer present. The frets exhibit moderate wear from over time but otherwise still have plenty of life and the electronics work as they should.
Aside from the extra holes drilled into the body, this bass is all original.
