This is a super cool vintage Kramer LK-1BK that plays and sounds great! This example was made in Japan by ESP in the 1980s, these instruments have earned a great reputation for good reason.
While it's hard to determine the exact year of manufacture but this one is estimated to be from the 1980s based on the headstock shape and Kramer logo. The guitar features an SH pickup configuration, single volume knob, and a 3-way mini switch. The DC Resistance on each pickup currently read 8.4k in the bridge and 5.8k in the neck position.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional light scratches and small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the maple neck has darkened from over time. The frets are still in nice shape and play great along the neck and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm and spring cover have been replaced, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
