This is a super cool vintage Greco S-55 that plays and sounds great! This one was made in the Fujigen Factory in Japan and was modeled after the ES-175 during the "lawsuit" era. The guitar is comprised of a spruce top, maple body, super slim maple neck, and ebony fretboard. The pickups feature a set of Maxon U-1000 PAF Humbuckers.
This guitar does show normal cosmetic wear from a vintage instrument. This includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional light scratches along the back of the neck and headstock. The truss rod cover has some initials written in marker and there is a name and date written on the inside of the F-hole. The label in the F hole is not present. The underside of the pickguard also has sharpie marks. The binding along the neck and body has yellowed from over time and the edges of the neck binding shows small cracks throughout. The frets show some oxidation on the ends but otherwise still play great. Despite the cosmetic wear, the guitar does not have any breaks or repairs. All of the electronics work as they should.
This is all original, outside of the missing label in the F hole.
