This 1997 Gibson SG Special plays and sounds great! This one has been modified , now sporting a Bigsby tremolo and Seymour Duncan SH-1 Humbuckers. The neck profile is super comfortable starting slim at 0.83" thick at the 1st fret, and thickening up to 0.97" at the 12th fret.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also some imprints throughout the body from where stickers had been placed at one point in time and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickups have been swapped for set of Seymour Duncan SH-1 Humbuckers and the Bigsby tremolo has been added. The electronics have also been replaced with push/pull pots and the pickup selector switch tip and volume/tone knobs are also replacements. This guitar is otherwise original.
