This 1986 Gibson Melody Maker plays and sounds great! The body is super lightweight and the neck has a slim taper profile. The factory-equipped Shawbucker sounds fantastic. This vintage Gibson has everything you need and nothing you don't!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware is starting to show some light tarnish and the finish has minor checking on the front of the body. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The upper strap button has been replaced, otherwise this guitar is all original.
Includes the pictured Gibson chainsaw hard case.
