This is a super cool left handed Fender American Standard Stratocaster, made in 1994 in the quite rare "Lipstick Red" color! A previous owner added a Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s pickup in the middle position. The neck and bridge pickups remain stock. This example has the sought after "swimming pool" pickup route, allowing for endless options if you decide to swap pickups!
The neck has a date of March 9th, 1994. The serial prefix is N3, but we have dated this off the later neck stamp date,
This guitar shows a good bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that include chips, surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body. There's also some blemishes on the back of the neck as shown. While this guitar is far from mint, the frets are still in nice shape and play with with only normal play wear. Everything functions as it should and the electronics work and sound great!
This middle pickup has been swapped to a Fender Custom Shop Fat 50s. The guitar is currently wired for the lower tone pot to control the bridge and middle, and the upper tone pot controlling the neck pickup. The lower tone pot is a replacement, as well as much of the wiring. There is evidence the electronics have been modified a number of times on this guitar.
The back springs are replacements. The tremolo arm is a replacement. Much of the plastics, including the pickguard and backplate with accompanying screws are later replacements. While many parts have been replaced on this guitar over the years, all replacements seem to be of quality, and the configuration has found its way back to
