This is a super cool and hard to find vintage made in Japan Fender '68 Stratocaster Reissue! The neck has a very thin "C" shape profile making it easy to get around on the fretboard and the guitar is equipped with USA pickups. If you are into guitars that feel "broken in" from years of play, this one is a real treat. It has naturally relic'd over time, and feels right at home.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and chips throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The maple fretboard also shows quite a bit of wear from over time, with much of the finish on the fretboard wearing through. The vintage white finish has aged quite a bit and the hardware exhibits consistent patina. The frets still play great even after many years of play, exhibiting only normal wear with life left. The neck is straight with plenty of room on the truss rod and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar comes freshly set up with D'addario EXL110 (10-46) strings. The bridge is a later OEM Fender replacement of the same spec to this model. The back spring cover is a later replacement, otherwise this guitar is original.
