This 1996 50th Anniversary Fender USA Stratocaster plays and sounds great! This one has been heavily worn in and has a really nice vintage aesthetic. The guitar is comprised of an alder body, "C" shape maple neck, and maple fretboard. This version of the Stratocaster features the coveted "Swimming Pool" pickup route, allowing for many different pickup configurations if you decide to modify it.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The maple fretboard particularly shows a lot of wear with various chips and some of the lacquer is starting to lift from over time, especially on the higher frets. There's also some faint imprints throughout the body from where stickers had been placed at one point in time. The plastics have yellowed significantly and the hardware shows normal tarnishing. The frets are used but otherwise still play great and the electronics work as they should.
One of the tone pots has been replaced, otherwise this guitar appears to be original.
