This is a super cool vintage American Precision Bass bass from 1977. This bass has definitely been well played quite over the years, and after spending some time with it, its easy to see why. The neck has a comfortable "C" profile, and the pickup sounds great, coming in at a strong 11.02K.
This bass does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years. Most notably, the lacquer on the headstock is peeling off and the fretboard underneath the frets show quite a bit of discoloration. Part of the "serial number" text has also started to chip away, but the serial number remains unaffected. There's also several small chips and scuffs throughout the body and there's also scuffing around the bridge where the bridge cover would have been. There's also some chipping around the corners behind the neck plate.
The metal covers and thumb rest are not present, a few solder points have been touched up, and the foam under the pickups is an older replacement, otherwise this bass appears to be original.
