This made in Japan Fender MG-69 Mustang Reissue plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of a basswood body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The classic Candy Apple Red finish looks great, especially when paired with the matching headstock!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, dents, and finish chips throughout the body with additional light scratches on the headstock. There's also some finish cracks located on the lower body and the hardware is starting to show some tarnishing from over time. The pickguard also has a chip along the side near the lower horn. The frets play great, exhibiting normal play wear and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is freshly set up with Daddario EXL110 (10 gauge) strings and is playing great! The B and high E string tuners appear to be later replacements of the same style as the originals. This guitar is otherwise original.
