This made in Japan Fender JM66-65 Jazzmaster Reissue plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of an alder body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. This example dates back to 1992, and was produced in the Fujigen factory, making this relatively early in Fender Japan offset production.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings on the headstock. There's also a small finish chip located on the edge of the neck pocket near the lower bout of the body. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the white plastics have yellowed from over time. There's an imprint from where there had been a sticker placed at one point in time on the back of the body. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm and strap buttons have been replaced, otherwise this guitar is original.
