This Fender Custom Shop '62 Telecaster NOS plays and sounds great! The guitar is comprised of an alder body with a nitro lacquer finish, oval "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. The pickups include a set of Custom Shop Twisted Tele single coil pickups. While the 1962 Telecaster Custom is often reissued by the Fender Custom Shop, the standard Telecaster model from '62 like this one has historically been produced far less often, leading to these rarely coming up for sale.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear that includes light surface scratches and small finish dents throughout the body. The frets are in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
A few solder points have been touched up in the electronics, otherwise this guitar is all original.
