This Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster Special plays and sounds great! A previous owner modified this one to now sport a Mosrite pickup in the bridge, which is super unique and sounds awesome! The guitar is comprised of an alder body, "C" shape maple neck, and rosewood fretboard.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The finish has worn oddly in some of the black areas, potentially indicative of touch up. The hardware is also starting to show some light tarnishing from over time. The frets are still in nice shape and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar has been modified to outfit a Mosrite pickup as shown, this pickup appears to be from a Japanese-made reissue. The guitar is otherwise original.
