This vintage Burny Super Grade RTV-80-58 plays and sounds great! This one is very hard to find and was modeled after the '58 model Les Paul Juniors. This guitar does not have a serial number so the date of manufacture was determined by the early '80s positioning of the high script "Super Grade" on the headstock and info found in catalogs.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the many years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional minor dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The Burny headstock logo and Super Grade script have faded from over time and there's quite a bit of finish wear on the front of the headstock. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the tv yellow finish has aged from over time. The frets play great and are in nice shape for their age, exhibiting only normal play wear. The electronics work as they should.
The truss rod cover is missing and there is an extra strap button hole. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.
