This is a very hard to find Mosrite The Ventures Model 1964 Reissue. This one is based on the earlier iterations of The Ventures Model Mosrites featuring a set neck, multi-ply binding, and Vibramute tailpiece. The true country of manufacture is a bit ambiguous on on this model. It was originally marketed as "Made in USA" for the Japanese market, though some part of production likely took place at the Fillmore factory in Japan.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body with additional wear along the back of the neck and headstock. There's some finish wear located along the side of the fretboard between the 7th and 12th frets and the binding around the neck and body has yellowed from over time. The white pickguard also shows some aging and the hardware has normal tarnishing. The frets are used but otherwise still play great and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
