This is a super solid made in Japan Fender ST-57 Stratocaster Reissue that plays and sounds great! The neck profile is definitely true to the '50s feel. This guitar exemplifies why these Fujigen made Fenders are so sought after today!
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. There's also a very large finish chip located on the lower side of the body that has been sealed off. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the white pickguard, knobs, and covers, have yellowed from over time. The frets show normal play wear with grooves from over time but otherwise still play great overall. All of the electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm and back spring cover have been added. Someone had also routed out the bridge pickup cavity to fit a humbucker as shown in the photos. It's also likely that some of the electronics have been replaced.
