This made in Japan Fender ST-562 Contemporary Stratocaster plays and sounds great! This guitar features the Fender System I tremolo unit with locking nut and the neck has a very slim "D" shape profile that is great for faster styles of playing. The pickups have been upgraded to a set of Seymour Duncan SSL-3 single coils.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional small dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware shows normal light tarnishing and the plastics have also aged from over time. The frets are used but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
The pickups include a set of Seymour Duncan SSL-3 single coil pickups and it appears that some of the other electronics have been also replaced. There's also an extra cavity that had been carved into the body where a circuit board may had been at one point in time, it is full covered by the pickguard. The back spring cover is also missing.
