This is a super cool made in Japan Fender JB-62 Fretless Jazz Bass from the early nineties! This bass is comprised of a basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood board. The bass is currently set up with 45-100 gauge D'Addario XL flat wound strings, which play and sound great on a fretless bass.
This bass does show some minor cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and small dents throughout the body from normal play. There's also a few finish chips located on the lower side of the body and near the neck pocket towards the lower horn. The back of the neck and headstock also show some additional dings. The hardware is starting to show some tarnish from over time. All of the electronics work as they should.
The tone and neck volume pots have been replaced. This bass otherwise appears to be original.
