This is is a limited edition '54 Reissue Stratocaster made in 1994 for the 40th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster. 1954 guitars were produced in this run to commemorate the first year, 1954 Stratocaster. This guitar sports a comfortable soft V profile, feeling right in line with early Strats. This example includes its original 40th Anniversary hard case.
This guitar does show some cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body and the maple neck and headstock show aging from over time as well. There's also areas of lacquer wear particularly along the sides of the body. The hardware shows normal tarnishing and the white pickguard has yellowed from over time. The frets are used and slightly oxidized but otherwise still play great. The electronics work as they should.
The tremolo arm has been replaced, otherwise this guitar is original.
