This is a beautiful made in Japan Morris WH-20 from 1978. This Hummingbird dreadnought style guitar sounds great and displays the excellence of Japanese craftsmanship. This example is unfortunately in pretty rough shape. There is clouding in the finish throughout as pictured, as well as a pickup that has been installed that is no longer functioning. Wonderful sounding guitar that needs some TLC!
This guitar definitely shows a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years. The front of the body has several scratches and scuffs in the finish and some light scratching on the back of the body as well. There's also a small but noticeable dent on the bottom of the body. The white binding has aged significantly and there's some fading in the finish around the sides of the guitar near the biding. The headstock also shows quite a bit of wear, particularly around the sides and above the nut. The frets are used but still play great and the action isn't too high.
The nut has been replaced, and a pickup has been added. Unfortunetely, the pickup is currently non functioning. The bottom strap button is the output jack. There looks to be cracks around the output jack.
Includes the pictured gig bag.
