This is a super cool made in Japan vintage Yamaha SA1000 from around 1979. The SA models have been highly regarded and sought after by many Yamaha players from over the years and this one is no exception. The neck feels super comfortable to play and the ebony frets make it easy to glide across the fretboard. I'm very rarely one to say this, but this absolutely blows away many proper Gibson ES-335's I've had over the years, this guitar is wonderful!
This guitar shows a few signs of cosmetic wear from over the years, most notably clouding throughout the finish. There's light scratching on the body and pickguard from normal play and some dents/small chips on the sides and back of the body. The finish has some splotchy areas throughout the body, back of the neck, and headstock and the hardware shows some light tarnish as well. The frets have normal wear but still play great and the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
