This is a super cool vintage Yamaha SG-1000 from the early 1980's. The guitar has a maple top with a mahogany neck and body. The ebony fretboard makes it easy for the fingers to glide across the neck.
This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various surface scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with additional dings along the back of the neck and headstock. The hardware and pickups also show quite a bit of tarnish and the binding has yellowed significantly from over time. The finish along the sides of the body show some slightly cloudiness as well. The frets have flattened out and are starting to show grooves, but the guitar is playing well with medium to low action. All of the electronics work as they should.
This guitar is all original.
